Taiyo Lily of the Valley Incense (380 Sticks)

Taiyo Lily of the Valley incense is a sweet and velvety herbal-floral incense produced in Japan by Nippon Kodo.

The scent of this incense is best described as being comforting. Lily of the valley is a flower that has a long association with love and when burned, the low-smoke incense releases an aroma that can produce an air of relaxation, calming the body and mind and acting like a comforting and reassuring hug. 

Although the incense is called Lily of the Valley, the main ingredients actually come from the roots of the Florentine iris, with secondary notes of lily of the valley and traditional Chinese herbs. The aromatic aroma has an intriguing mix of both herbal, woody and floral notes that entice the senses. 

The incense sticks come attractively packed in a box with a green themed image of mountains and flowers.

More About Japanese Incense
Japanese incense (speaking in general terms) is refined, pure, light smoke and rich in natural ingredients such as sandalwood. They don't usually have the thin wooden stick centre that is often found in Indian and other incense sticks. They are normally pure incense right the way through the stick. They are often designed with meditation in mind. Due to the high quality manufacturing processes the incense goes through they can be a little bit more expensive than other incense on the market.
