The Scentsual Sweet White Sage incense is made with 100% natural ingredients. When burned, the sticks release the wonderful herbal scent of crisp, freshly picked white sage.
Sage is well known and highly regarded as being a cleansing and purifying plant and sage is treated as being sacred by the Native Americans. White sage plants are native to parts of Western USA so the ingredients for the incense are carefully sourced.
This sweet white sage incense is ideal to use if you specifically want to focus on cleaning and purifying a space or want to perform a ritual. But it’s equally beneficial to burn if you simply want to enjoy the fresh and herbal aroma of these incense sticks. How to Use: Light the tip of the incense stick until it flames. Once the tip is glowing, carefully blow out the flame. Fix into appropriate holder on a heat resistant surface.

I must admit I was a bit of a newbie to incense when I first tried the Sweet White Sage. I found this range the perfect introduction to my incense adventure. I chose this particular incense purely by the scent name. It didn’t sound too over powering for my first steps, I knew that sage is used for cleansing so I thought what a perfect way to begin my journey.
The packaging is very neat and compact. Simple yet effective. The sticks themselves are about 12cm in length. They have a burn time of roughly 25 - 30 minutes. They’re not too smokey like other incense can be. I found the aroma lovely and fresh. It’s not at all intense or strongly perfumed. The scent is slightly herby with a sweet sage undertone. I liked the simplicity of the scent. It’s not too heady or intensely perfumed as other incense (that I’ve tried since) can be.
I’ve used this incense subsequently and it really helps me clear my mind and reboot my thoughts. I found it particularly beneficial during Lockdown when my mood and energy levels were low. A great natural cleaner for the mind. I probably use this incense once every two to three weeks. It’s the perfect pick me up when I’ve had a busy day and just need some ‘me’ time. Perfect when I have some decisions to make as it really helps keep the mind clear and focused. I’ve gone on to do much more exploring of the incense world and tried many other types and scents. But I always seem to come back to the Sweet White Sage for its pure simplicity.
