Dimensions: About 4.5 cms (1.75 inches) tall.
Burning time: 16-18 hours.
This candle has an aroma of Cassia, Clove and nutmeg and supports the Root Chakra Muladhara. The Root Chakra is linked to the base of the spine, and is heavily related to earthiness, survival, self-defence and achieving goals. It is made from pure plant wax with different natural essential oils.
This candle is produced using 'stearin' or palm wax and which includes 3% of pure essential oils. Stearin is a renewable source that can be replanted and makes the candle burn very clean and smokeless. The wick used in the candle is pure cotton and as a result of this, you tend to have a very steady bright flame and no waste-product as the candle burns itself out. The candle is paraffin free and has no metal-lead, zinc contents or any animal derived ingredients.
Leaflet on inside of packet reads :
Inner Peace is the best investment for World Peace.
Before lighting your candle, please take a few moments for a short meditation. The light of the candle will be dedicated to your Self and to all sentient beings. To your wish to think and act purely. To heal which needs to be healed. To your wish to purify your spirit. You may also direct your attention and your wish to one or more chakras and to specific wishes for yourself and others. Doing this, you will help yourself and the world, just from within.
100% pure natural Palm Wax is made from fruit berries of the palm oil tree. This same high quality palm tree oil can be found in hand lotions, shampoos and cosmetics. It’s the purest non-GMO food quality wax. Palm Wax is made just like essential oils simply pressed and distilled. Soy and paraffin candles involve solvent extraction using petroleum chemicals like hexane.
Warning
Keep the burning candle out of reach of children and animals and never unattended. Place candle on a heat-resistant base. Do not place the candle near curtains or open windows.
More About the Symbolism of the Colour Red
Colours can affect our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states, both consciously and unconsciously. We can use colours to help us feel better, to inject an element of vitality into our life, or to calm strong feelings and promote a sense of peace and relaxation.
The colour red is typically associated with a range of emotions and states of being, including: energy, passion, love, joy, vitality, health, strength, power, fire, aggression and danger. Different people perceive colours in different ways, so you may have other associations, which are equally valid.
Throughout ancient traditions, red has been a dominant colour, symbolising both positivity and negativity. It's been used to represent the colour of gods of sun and war and is often associated with power. In China it was the emblem of the Chou dynasty and was thought of as being one of the luckiest colours. In Christianity red is associated with the act of sacrifice, representing the blood of Christ who died on the cross. Red is a particularly dominant colour in the Tarot.
The colour has links with passion and sexuality, too. Hearts are usually depicted as red and it features widely in the annual celebration of St. Valentine's Day, and in Greece it was the colour of the phallic God, Priapus. Young North American Indians traditionally painted themselves in red, believing it would increase their strength and desire.
As far as the chakras go, red is the colour used to symbolise the base chakra.
More About Chakras
The chakras are major energetic centres within the human body. There are seven in total. They are:
Crown (violet-white)
Forehead (indigo)
Throat (Blue)
Heart (Green)
Solar plexus (Yellow)
Sacral (Orange)
Base (Red)
When our chakras are healthy and glowing strongly we feel good. By having about us or using chakra products, wearing chakra jewellery or using chakra stones in healing we are giving focus to this state of balance. If we have good intention we may draw situations to us that help us to change and help our chakras to find or remain in balance.
