More About the Symbol of the Horse
Throughout many cultures such as the Hindu, Greek and Native American horses are revered and held in high esteem. Horse represents power and how we use our own power in life. We are each given our own brain, heart, body and life energy. How will we use them? How will we approach our lives? If you have ever stood at the side of a field and watched horses cantering about, playing and then suddenly taking off in a gallop you can hear their power. How they have such weight and can gain such momentum. The clattering of their hooves against hard earth leave you in no doubt these animals are sacred and have within them great power. Horses have helped humans throughout history spread over great distances. Before the horse was used by humans we were very limited in how far we could travel.

In the Tarot the Knights in most decks ride on horseback. Each of the four Knights represents a different aspect of ourselves. How will we apply our focus? Will we steam in completely focussed on what we wish to achieve and risk losing other things (Knight of Swords)? Will we leap in at the first opportunity with both feet full of fire and enthusiasm but risk lacking the longevity to reach the end (Knight of Wands)? Will we methodically take one thing at a time and risk taking too long (Knight of Pentacles)? Or will we listen quietly to higher voices to help guide us but risk not actually making the dream a reality (Knight of Cups)? Or can we manage to balance our four aspects so that we can use all these skills exactly when they are called for? This will give us the best power and we will accomplish great things.

You should wear or have around you the symbol of horse when you wish to be more conscious of "Right use of Power". A spark to fire you off, the momentum to keep going, a focus to keep you eye on the goal, and the listening to check you are working for the greater good of all that is.

More About Turquoise
Turquoise is said to be a perfect balance of male and female force and has a restful, soothing energy. Due to its balanced nature, it's a good stone to have around during the development of psychic and spiritual skills as it reminds us to be more aware of our intuition without losing track of earthly reality. As a tool, it can be beneficial for astral travellers or meditators. Additionally, the peaceful energy can remind us to try and remain calm during emotional unrest and develop friendships rather than enemies.

More About the Symbol of the Feather
Feathers are used consistently throughout Native American crafts and ceremonial tools. Birds fly inbetween the earth and the sky and as such feathers represent this connection between us as humans and Great Spirit. Of course a feather is not essential to contact God or be in tune with Spirit. It is a tool - a reminder. Feathers are like a link. You can hold them while praying, you can use a feather to brush smudge smoke over you for cleansing the aura and can have them in crafts and jewellery about you to remind you that you are always connected to Spirit.
