Each decan corresponds to a sign and a planet, containing its own magical potency. There are 36 faces to the zodiac, and the decans describe their nature and power. Here, each decan is an opportunity for personal growth and reflection.

About the Author
Jackie Hope is an attorney, tarot reader, musician and astrologer. She is a 2010 Teach for America alumna who has worked in education reform, environmental justice and mental health services. As someone who has come through the dark night of activist burnout, Jackie guides changemakers to work through their dark nights using tarot and astrology, so that they can continue to impact their communities for the better.
